Deals this week: Pratt and Whitney, Intrepid Solutions and Services, ATK Space Systems
Pratt and Whitney has been contracted by the US Air Force to support F100-PW-229 engines that power military aircraft of Iraq and Morocco through September 2023.
The $42.39m contract covers spare engines, integrated logistics support, and over-and-above repair works.
Intrepid Solutions and Services has won a $45.37m contract to provide information technology support services for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) through October 2022.
Awarded by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, the contract will allow NASIC to maintain and upgrade existing computer networks with new capabilities.
Space Coast Launch Services will provide support services for the launch operations of the US Air Force’s 45th Space Wing unit, under a one-year contract modification worth $23.13m.
The scope of work covers the provision of operations, maintenance and engineering services to the 45th Space Wing’s critical launch, spacecraft and ordnance test stations.
SURVICE Engineering Company has secured a $15.23m contract from the US Air Force Test Center to provide modelling, analysis and tools in support of the SEEK EAGLE programme.
The contractual work will be performed in the Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, through October next year.
The SEEK EAGLE programme is intended to certify aircraft weapons, tanks, pods and suspension.
ATK Space Systems is to provide structural panels for the B-1B Lancer long-range bombers that are operated by the US Air Force.
Awarded by the US Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, the $12.18m contract has a one-year base period with four one-year extension options.
