Pilatus Aircraft Ltd has placed an order for cockpit avionics with Esterline’s Avionics Systems business segment.

The contractor will supply high-performance cockpit aeronautics, including flight management systems, GPS, and head-up displays for installation onto the PC-21 turboprop trainer aircraft operated by the French Air Force.

The company has also secured an order to supply additional ship sets for the Royal Jordanian Air Force’s PC-21 aircraft.

Aviall, a Boeing Company, has signed an agreement with Rolls-Royce to provide new parts sales and distribution services for military variants of AE-family engines worldwide.

The deal covers the AE 1107C turboshaft fitted to V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft, the AE 2100 turboprop installed on C-130J, C-27J and Shinmaywa US-2 aircraft, and the AE 3007 turbofan on the Global Hawk unmanned surveillance platform.

Harris Corporation has won a contract from Lockheed Martin to modernise mission system avionics for the F-35 Lightning II aircraft.

The contractor will provide maintenance and repair services for Typhoon avionics, including radar, defensive aids suite, and IRST sensor.
