Northrop Grumman Systems Corp has secured a $98m-worth contract to support the US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM).

As part of the deal, the contractor will support the operations and maintenance of USSTRATCOM command and control capabilities by providing a range of services, including system and software engineering, installation, integration, testing, and other support services.

Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Laboratory has secured a $92m-worth contract to procure engineering services for complex systems of the US Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC).

According to the deal, the contractor will support AFNWC’s activities in strategic system capability assessments, development planning, and nuclear command, control and communications, up to June 2024.

Leonardo Holdings Limited has won a two-year contract worth $51.35m to modernise Praetorian defensive aids subsystem (DASS) to improve operational capability of the British Royal Air Force’s Eurofighter Typhoon combat jets.

Leonardo will perform capability work for the upgrade of DASS, while BAE Systems will provide integration services, under the contract.
