Deals this week: Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Vectrus Systems


Lockheed Martin Corporation has received a $287.19m-worth contract to supply an additional five C-130J Super Hercules military transport aircraft for the US Air Force through April 2020.

The contract has been awarded by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center as a modification to a previously awarded contract.

The US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center has awarded a missile defence systems contract modification, valued at $41.73m, to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation.

Northrop Grumman will supply large aircraft infrared counter measures (LAIRCM) system line replaceable units for Australia and Canada, as part of the two-year contract.

Vectrus Systems Corporation has won a $21m contract to provide installation, maintenance and recreation services for the US Air Force at Al Udeid Air Base in Doha, Qatar, beginning this month.

"The contract has an option to be extended by up to two and a half years."

The US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center has awarded a one-year logistics support contract modification, valued at $19.58m, to L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc.

L-3 Communications will provide maintenance, repair and support services for the C-12 aircraft, as part of the modification.

Greenland Contractors Interessentskaber has been contracted to perform the operation and maintenance of Thule Air Base of the US Air Force up to next May.

The firm-fixed-price contract, valued at $25.7m, has been awarded by the US 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson Air Force Base.
