Israel Aerospace Industries unit ELTA Systems Ltd has secured a contract worth $200m with an undisclosed customer to manufacture targeting and surveillance pods.

The targeting and surveillance systems to be delivered under the contract will be integrated onto the country’s military aircraft.

The contractual work covers sustainment of Talon HATE, AN/APG-63(V)1, AN/APG-63(V)2, and AN/APG-63(V)3 radars.

The Department of National Defence of Canada has awarded a contract to KF Aerospace for Bell 206 Level 7 Flight Training Device (FTD).

The training simulator to be supplied under the deal will be installed at the Contracted Flying Training and Support (CFTS) Training Centre in Southport, Manitoba, Canada.

The FTD is scheduled to be commissioned in April 2018.
