Deals this week: Airbus Helicopters, ManTech SRS Technologies, Saab


Airbus Helicopters has signed a contract with the Singapore Ministry of Defence to supply the H225M medium-lift helicopter.

The new H225M helicopter is intended to replace the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s Super Puma utility helicopters.

The US Space and Missile Systems Center has awarded a systems engineering and integration services contract modification worth $27.32m to ManTech SRS Technologies Inc.

ManTech will provide support services for the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle under the modification, through March 2020.

Saab has secured a contract to deliver Targo helmet mounted display (HMD) system for installation on to the Swedish Air Force’s Gripen E multi-role fighter aircraft.

Valued at $13.25m, the contract has been awarded by the Swedish Defence Material Administration.

The HMD system deliveries will begin in 2022 and continue through 2026.

Embraer, an aerospace and defence company based in Brazil, has awarded a landing gear supply contract to Héroux-Devtek Inc.

The Boeing Company has agreed to deliver CH-47F heavy-lift helicopter to the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), under a contract awarded by the Singapore Ministry of Defence.

The new CH-47F helicopter is intended to provide the RSAF with advanced capabilities by replacing the ageing CH-47 Chinook helicopters.
