The Boeing Company has been awarded a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for AC-130U 25mm ammunition storage handling systems assemblies.

Under the $11.1m contract, the company will provide spares and five major subassemblies to build six AC-130U 25mm ammunition storage assemblies.

The subassemblies include conveyor assembly, loader/downloader, magazine transfer unit, magazine driver gearbox and the gun drive gearbox.

The US Air Force Global Logistics Support Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, US, will be the contracting activity.
