The US Defense Logistics Agency has awarded a contract to Cobham Life Support to provide crew-breathing regulator overhaul kits for the US Air Force.

The kits will provide critical parts to the Air Logistics Centre to overhaul the existing crew breathing regulators.

Cobham Life Support president Kelly Coffield said the contract would facilitate a smooth, continuous supply of parts to ensure the USAF maintained a high level of mission-capable aircraft.

Under the $18m one-year contract, Cobham will produce the kits at its manufacturing facility in Davenport, Iowa, US.
