US Air Force Centre for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) has selected Parsons for its worldwide environmental restoration and construction 2009 (WERC09) programme.
Under the WERC09 programme, Parsons will make environmental restoration or remediation efforts that include conceptual design, construction, implementation, demolition, repair, operation and maintenance of installed systems before delivery to the government.
Traditional engineering and construction needs are a secondary requirement and include design, construction, demolition, repair, and operation and maintenance before delivery.
The contract addresses performance-based remediation (PBR) requirements.
