BAE to Support USAF Nuclear Treaty Monitoring

04 November 2009

BAE Systems will support the US Air Force global monitoring for nuclear treaty compliance under a new $20m contract.

The firm will provide engineering, research and programme management services for the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) at Patrick Air Force Base.

The contract includes an initial one-year award of $4m, plus four option years and work will be performed on-site at the air force base.

The five-year contract will be managed from BAE's new facility in Florida, recently opened to accommodate the company's growing presence along the Space Coast.
