The Pakistan Air Force has awarded a $75m contract to Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) for the modernisation of its F-16 aircraft.
Under the contract, the company will upgrade 42 F-16s at its facilities in 46 months starting from October 2010.
The contract for the modernisation programme was signed between TAI and the Pakistan Ministry of Defense Production on 29 June 2009.
