BAE Systems has acquired Arizona-based unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) manufacturer Advanced Ceramics Research after the receipt of regulatory approval.
Ceramics manufactures three UAS platforms and renders relative support to US armed forces and civil government agencies.

The company also furnishes ceramic and other materials for both military and commercial aerospace applications.
BAE Systems electronics, intelligence and support president Mike Heffron said that Ceramics’s experience and expertise in small and tactical UASs will increase the UAS platforms developed by BAE Systems in the UK and other home markets.
