ELEB Equipamentos has been selected by Embraer to develop and produce the landing gear for the new KC-390 military transport jet.

Under the contract, the company will design a strong and reliable system for use in operations with heavy payloads or large-capacity logistical missions, and the demanding conditions of semi-prepared airfields.

The KC-390 is a fixed-wing transport aircraft being developed by Embraer for the Brazilian Air Force to perform troop and cargo transport, aerial delivery, in-flight refuelling and medical evacuation missions.

Other important features of the airplane include a double chamber shock absorber system and landing gear installed on the fuselage.
