Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF)
The Advanced Tactical Fighter program developed the F/A-22 Raptor to replace the ageing F-15 as the primary US Air Force air-to-air fighter. Built by Lockheed Martin and Boeing, it uses stealth technology, radar-absorbent materials, advanced avionics and weaponry to increase combat performance.
