Reinvigorating the Air Force Nuclear Enterprise
13 August 2010This report has been prepared by the US Air Force Nuclear Task Force to discuss the priorities of the USAF in reinvigorating the air force nuclear enterprise.
The study has identified a comprehensive set of actions that the air force must take to overcome documented deficiencies and set the conditions for sustainable excellence across the air force nuclear enterprise.
The report has recommended the consolidation of all nuclear sustainment functions under AFMC/AFNWC to establish positive inventory control measures for nuclear weapons-related materiel and to enhance nuclear inspection processes.
