05 July 2010The US Government Accountability Office (GAO) submitted this review to the Staff of the House Committee on Armed Services, Subcommittee on Readiness on 11 September 2009.
In this report GAO has reviewed Section 1081 of the National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2008 (Public Law 110-181).
GAO has interviewed officials to gain an understanding of the Fee-For-Service Air Refueling Pilot Program, including cost estimates, the requirements generation process and legislative relief identified by the air force.
