Kronshtadt - Aviation, Sea and Ground Simulators

The Russian company Kronshtadt is one of a number of high-tech companies that work in the market of armaments and military techniques. Our company has more than 10 years' experience in civil design and construction of airborne equipment and simulator techniques. Last year, the company specialists achieved considerable success in introducing high technologies to the military sphere.

Taking into consideration the need to improve combat training systems based on modern technical training media usage, the creation of training complexes of different functions is of great importance in the company's activity. Using proprietary technologies we produce all kinds of simulating techniques for aviation, sea and ground. These technologies allow not only a creation of separate kinds of simulators, but also allow their union in one virtual space.

In exporting these simulator technologies we provide both delivery of the technique itself together with the technical training media. By working with leading Russian aviation constructing enterprises, Kronshtadt is able to offer a wide range of training media and different services:

  • Computer education classes
  • Procedural simulators
  • Full function complex simulators

Mi-17 HELICOPTER SIMULATOR

At the Farnborough 2002 international aerospace show, Kronshtadt exhibited a complex navigation-pilot simulator of the Mi-17 helicopter which is a new element in the system of combat training. This simulator is designed for the professional training of flight personnel. In addition to this, it allows the user to gauge the effectiveness of complex perspective usage in the on-board equipment during the early stages of their creation and work out ways of organizing the interaction between a crew and the on-board radio electronic equipment and armament management systems.

FLIGHT SIMULATORS

This simulator consists of blocks and detectors for the aircraft control arms, a multi-channel visual system with an object database, a motion system with six degrees of freedom and an acoustic noise and voice messages imitator in one complex together with the computer system in real time.

In the training process the simulator allows the user to create different scenarios for exercises including:

  • Take-off
  • Landing
  • Piloting in different flight regimes including critical ones caused by equipment failures and air anomalies
  • Conduct of air and ground battles using all kinds of armament

Visual scenes are created automatically with the use of highly accurate electronic environment charts that ensure the visual scenes correspond adequately to reality. In this process the effects of the local visibility changes (smoke, clouds, mist) and changes in lighting are dependent on the time of the day, flight altitude and different weather conditions.

TRAINING CENTERS - SIMULATOR INTERACTION

Kronshtadt technologies give the possibility to unite different types of simulators in one complex training center. This allows for the interactive training of crews from one service or different services, for example aircraft and ships.

As with other simulators, Kronshtadt ship simulators were designed taking into consideration all the demands of modern combat training.

Permanent improvements, good service, detailed support and a flexible price policy - these are the components that allow Kronshtadt to design high quality, competitive products.
