EMPORDEF-TI products cover the primary training areas of synthetic training and simulation, including basic areas, procedures (operators and maintenance), and missions.

Through selective partnerships and our know-how, EMPORDEF-TI is well prepared to optimally satisfy the requirements and expectations of its clients. Created from a spin-off of OGMA's development engineering division in 2004, EMPORDEF-TI has a team fully dedicated to design activities in the synthetic training, simulation, and test software (A/C engines and avionics) markets.

AIRCRAFT TEST EQUIPMENT AND SIMULATION SOFTWARE

Throughout the years, EMPORDEF-TI team has accumulated vast experience, initiated a long time ago with the development of software applications for automatic test equipment and simulation components to the Vought A-7P aircraft flight simulator.

The technical and technological competences developed with the projects dedicated to aeronautical systems maintenance, repair and upgrades, allied with the consolidation of the know-how acquired with simulation, test systems and computer-based training applications, have granted EMPORDEF-TI a recognised status amongst simulation providers.

EMPORDEF-TI's specialised know-how has enabled the company's recent entry into the international market, the ultimate expression of a commitment towards excellence. EMPORDEF-TI is working towards the edification of a solid prestige, by consistently bolstering the capabilities deemed relevant to the engineering and development of innovative and technologically advanced software applications, including the below.

AUTOMATIC TEST EQUIPMENT SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS

Since the acquisition, in 1984, of dedicated avionics automatic test equipment, the EMPORDEF-TI team has progressed in the operation of UNIX V systems, and the development of the Abbreviated Test Language for All Systems (ATLAS) programming language Test Programme Sets (TPS).

The work developed in the framework of the digital simulator LASAR post processor has also helped familiarise the engineering team with this commercially available tool (LAPP Tools) and to consolidate its know-how in the definition and development of TPS.

In the 1990s, the EMPORDEF-TI team was confronted with an urgent need to refurbish the OGMA company's two main engine test stands (for turbofan and turboprop engines) due to their obsolescence and lack of performance, because the company needed to test new AE3007 and AE2100 series Rolls-Royce engines.

EMPORDEF-TI also developed a brand new, computerised control-and-instrumentation system, specifically designed to perform aircraft turbine engine testing (for turbofan and turboprop engines), in addition to other solutions to support engine testing and engine maintenance activities.

The experience gained over two decades of developing, engineering and manufacturing simulation and training systems allows EMPORDEF-TI to respond to any requirement, either from military or civilian customers, for every type of training systems. We can supply Computer-Based Trainers (CBT), Part Task Trainers (PTT), Cockpit Procedures Trainers (CPT), Operational Flight Trainers (OFT), Full Flight Simulators (FFS), Virtual Maintenance Trainers (VMT) and physiological trainers.
