Rave Computer Announces Custom Servers and Workstations Based on Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor 5500 Series

Rave Computer announced today that it now offers custom and off-the-shelf solutions based on Intel® Xeon® Processor 5500 Series. This break-through technology allows Rave Computer to better serve customer needs with solutions featuring intelligent performance, automated energy efficiency, and flexible virtualization.

The Intel Xeon processor 5500 series features an integrated memory controller and Intel QuickPath Interconnect Technology for bandwidth intensive applications, providing up to 25.6 GB/sec bandwidth per link. This new Intel microarchitecture features up to 18 slots of high-speed DDR3 memory, Hyper-Threading Technology, and Turbo Boost Technology for performance on demand.
