From 2009 until 2011 TenCate Advanced Armour will deliver a total of approximately 22,500 systems that each consists of several ballistic inserts designed to protect against specific customised threats. The order from Sagem emphasizes the position of TenCate Advanced Armour as a leading supplier of customised lightweight protection solutions for service men and women and their equipment. At Milipol 2009 in Paris from 17-20 November, TenCate Advanced Armour will exhibit the TenCate Multi-light inserts.
New generation of ballistic inserts: TenCate Multi-light
TenCate Multi-light is a collection of durable ballistic inserts that can be tailored to fit users’ particular requirements regarding maximum protection, shape, weight, colour and costs. TenCate Multi-lightTM features a full range of inserts designed in accordance with international standards as well as customers’ requirement. The key focus of TenCate Multi-lightTM is to provide the service men and woman with maximum protection and comfort at the same time.

French Army FELIN program
The French Army FELIN program is a new platform concept to enhance the infantryman combat skills in the areas of mobility, fighting, communications, survivability, ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance), and logistic support.
The French DGA has awarded the French company Sagem with the contract to provide 22,500 Felin systems. Ballistic protection is a vital part of this new concept. The concepts will be fielded and operational in 2010.
