EMTEQ, Inc. and Flight Components AG, who combined operations in March 2007, announced a new name and unveiled a new logo for the Switzerland based facility – EMTEQ Europe GmbH. The name change, effective January 1, 2010, will not have any impact on the company’s organizational structure or day-to-day operations.
Jerry Jendusa, CEO, said: “Flight Components has built a solid reputation as a high quality, exterior lighting manufacturer since 1970, and a pioneer in LED technology since 2001. We want to assure customers and partners that EMTEQ will continue to deliver the same reliable technology, service and support they have come to expect over the years. The new name, EMTEQ Europe, reflects our corporate vision to be a global company with vast resources dedicated to our customers’ success. EMTEQ Europe affirms EMTEQ’s commitment to serve the European market.”
EMTEQ will leverage and honor the familiar former company by branding its exterior lighting product line as FC Exterior Lighting and keeping the core technology at this location. The company’s previous Web site (www.flightcomponents.com) will forward to the new site, www.emteq.com.
EMTEQ offers an extensive selection of innovative, value add products and services ranging from product design, a full range of engineering services, FAA/EASA/Transport Canada STC, program/project management, testing, installation and certification all backed with FAA/EASA Repair Station and access to global technical support.
