BittWare and PLDA join forces to Deliver 10G Low Latency TCP Offload, UDP and PCIe IP Cores on Altera Stratix-based Hardware

BittWare and PLDA announced in December that they have entered into a global value added reseller (VAR) agreement which combines PLDA’s IP cores as part of an integrated solution on BittWare’s Stratix V embedded COTS hardware.

PLDA’s IP cores include a 10G TCP/IP Offload Engine Hardware Stack (QuickTCP), 10G UDP Hardware Stack (QuickUDP) and PCI Express DMA core. This is an ideal choice for anyone looking for a complete solution built to deliver low latency and complete CPU offload.

New BPC8219 Backplane from Trenton Systems Expands x16 PCI Express Support

Trenton ‘s BPC8219 PCI Express backplane employs the PICMG® 1.3 butterfly form factor to enable 2U rackmount computer designs. Designed and manufactured in the USA, this backplane is supported by Trenton’s industry-leading five-year warranty.

Side B features three 16 slots driven with 16 electrical interfaces, and the slot spacing is designed to accommodate the added physical width common with many high-performance video, graphics and GPU cards. Side A supports one single or dual-processor single board computer with 16 PCI Express slots driven by a PCIe link with four outlets.
