AYESAS - Aviation Hardware and Software Systems

AYESAS is an AS 9100 certified solution provider for aviation hardware and software systems for airlines and air forces. Main products and services range from system-level solutions such as turnkey air defence systems to subsystem / component-level solutions such as harnesses, circuit card assemblies, consoles, and safety-critical software (DO-178B) like digital maps, and traffic collision-avoidance systems.

Air defence systems

AYESAS has been providing cutting-edge solutions for air defence systems like mobile radar complexes, radar integration and automation systems, radar network, automated target detection and tracking system.

AYESAS designed, developed and supplied subsystems of mobile radar complexes including :

• Radar data processing and control software
• Tactical data links: Link-1, Link-11/B, ATDL-1

AYESAS developed RADNET (radar network) system which provides monitoring and controlling of multi radar in a country-wide area network. This integration enables distribution of data coming from different type of National and NATO Radars to related Control and Reporting Centers and provides remote control capability of these radars.

Automatic target detection and tracking system

AYESAS developed an automatic target detection and tracking system (OTOHETTS) which is a multi-sensor data fusion system developed for the Turkish navy’s frigates (US Oliver Hazard Perry Class) for combat management system modernization. Information extracted from different types of radars and IFFs are fused to generate to a common operational above water and air picture.

Harness assemblies

AYESAS is a proven supplier of wiring harness assemblies for air platforms like NATO AWACS E3-A, F16 and various types of helicopters with design, test and manufacturing capabilities.

Extensive manufacturing infrastructure includes:

• Wire harness analyzer DIT-MCO 2115 (for continuity and isolation testing)
• Braiding machines (for EMI/RFI shielding and protective coating)
• Laser marker
• Soldering stations

All assemblers are certified in accordance with IPC-610, IPC-620 and J-STD-0001. AYESAS uses Catia V5, Catia Electrical Harness Flattening Module, AUTOCAD Inventor and Unigraphics as design tools.

Major harness customers include Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Aselsan.

Circuit card assemblies

AYESAS is specialized in production of multilayer circuit card assemblies. AYESAS capabilities start from circuit board design to component engineering, from test fixture and software design to circuit card assembly.

Capabilities and infrastructure involve:

• Surface mount assembly including: BGA and FBGA to 0.5 mm, CSP, TSOP, PLCC and QFP
• Multi-chip packages

All assemblers are certified in accordance with IPC-610 and J-STD-0001.

AYESAS has been providing CCAs for GE Aviation and L3 Display Systems within Missile Remote Interface Unit and Panoramic Cockpit Display projects of the F35 Program respectively.

Workstations for air platform applications

AYESAS provides VME or PCI based workstations for air platform applications like Mission Support Computer and Situational Awareness Console computer. AYESAS is able to design, develop, test and manufacture in accordance with MIL-Specs.

Safety-critical software for defence avionics

AYESAS is also specialized in development of Safety Critical Software for Avionics with 15 certification experience per DO-178B Level A, B and C or SEAL (13 completed). AYESAS has been involved with 34 avionics software projects (29 completed), which involves 15 different avionics units and 5 test systems. AYESAS is involved with more than 500 man-year of avionics software experience from low-level BSP & drivers to high end applications including digital Moving Maps. Avionics software expertise includes Unmanned Air Systems for both airborne and ground sections.

Major avionics software customers include ACSS, Rockwell Collins, L-3 Avionics Systems, L-3 Display Systems, L-3 EDI, ASELSAN, TUSAS, and Agusta Westland.
