Airlift Technologies International (ATI) is the world's largest supplier of airdrop platforms to the US Government and NATO customers. As a world leader in aerial cargo delivery systems development, manufacturing, training, technology and support services, ATI are always available to meet your needs. ATI is committed to total customer satisfaction by providing quality products and technical support services that meet, or exceed, customer expectations. ATI specializes in the design, development and manufacturing of aerial delivery systems equipment, complete airdrop load design, airdrop qualification testing, component systems integration, airdrop training, Type-V, DRAS and 88in wide aerial delivery airdrop platforms, outriggers and pallets. TYPE V AERIAL DELIVERY PLATFORMThe Type V airdrop platform is a modular component assembly constructed of aluminum extrusions and is used for airdropping loads ranging from 2,500lb to 42,000lb from aircraft having the 463L standard, dual rail, restraint systems (60,000lb have been dropped using large aircraft.). They are available in 8ft to 32ft lengths with vented or non-vented main and rear panel assemblies. The vented version is used to drop loads onto water. This platform is LAPE qualified. DRAS AERIAL DELIVERY PLATFORMThe DRAS airdrop platform is a modular component assembly constructed similarly to the Type V airdrop platform, but having a different Side Rail cross section and an 88in overall width instead of the 108in width. It is 463L cargo system compatible and is designed for specifically the C-17 aircraft to fit the dual pallet rows and locking systems. It is intended to be gravity rollout extracted and has no rear panel incorporating an extraction provision. Maximum payload capacity is under present study.
BUFFER STOP ASSEMBLY (BSA)The Buffer Stop Assembly (BSA) is a 3-g forward cargo restraint normally used for airdropping A-22 containers from aircraft. It rolls and locks into the forward end of an aircraft cargo compartment equipped with a 463L compatible, 108in gauge, dual row roller restraint cargo system. It furnishes a 3-g forward restraint for 16 each A-22 containers in a C-130 aircraft. CARGO PARACHUTES AND DEREEFERSAirlift Technologies manufactures G-11 and G-12 recovery cargo parachutes and 15ft, 22ft and 28ft ringslot extraction cargo parachutes. They also supply mechanical dereefing devices for the dereefing of cargo parachute canopies, and M-1 and M-2 parachute releases. Please contact us for further details. AIRDROP AND AERIAL DELIVERY COMPONENTSAs an aerial delivery systems integrator, ATI takes full responsibility to analyze customer needs, define equipment requirements and supply the total systems package to include all ancillary products. ATI accepts all equipment after-sales service and support responsibility to assure customer confidence for all systems delivered under contract. These ancillary products include:
AERIAL DELIVERY TRAININGATI's team of expert instructors offer a total systems approach to aerial delivery training, from basic parachute packing to the full operational aerial delivery capabilities of your C-130 or other transport aircraft. By analyzing the total system's concept, ATI will optimize your aerial delivery capability by providing training for such purchased hardware as:
